Two local touch players are making one last dash for cash before they head to the National Touch Tournament in Auckland this week.
Takiri McLeod and Marcelle Wahapango will be representing the Bay Of Plenty in the under 21s mixed division at Bruce Pulman Park from March 3rd to 5th.
Before heading to Auckland, the pair plan to climb Mauao 38 times between them, in just two days to raise mooney for their tournament.
38 climbs up Mauao is the equivelant to climbing Mount Everest and the two girls are asking for people to donate money to each climb.
Via their Facebook page, the girls suggest 50c per climb per person which equals a donation of $19.
